Heliosphere Farm sits on 6 acres in central New Hampshire. We started the farm in 2017 with two pygmy goats (Phobos and Deimos), who were shortly joined by our first three sheep: Io, Ganymede, and Nyx. In keeping with the farm’s name, most of the flock is named after characters from Greek mythology whose names can also be found in the solar system. Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, like one of our newest additions: a petite Shetland wether (neutered male) named Pickles.

Our current flock of 16 sheep consists of a mix of purebreds and crosses. We have registered Finn, Shetland, and Merino sheep along with fine- and medium-wool crosses.
